Whoever said two miles was easy was a big, fat liar. I’m telling you from first hand experience, it’s not. Especially when it’s 4 p.m. in the afternoon in hot, humid Texas. While it may not have been easy, the Bayou Bash Relays, hosted by the Bayou City Road Runners at the lovely TC Jester Park, sure was a blast. I did relays all the time growing up as a swimmer, but when it comes to sports on land, I tend to fly solo.
