I’m a few days out from PRing at the Aramco Half Marathon in Houston and honestly, still flying pretty high. A well executed race, chilly weather and a solid training block led me to a 5 minute personal best of 1:33:10 on Sunday. But I’m not done yet.

One of the things I love about Austin is that the terrain is so different than my home in Houston less than three hours away. Having moved from Hawaii where I ran hills daily, to Houston where running hills takes some planning and creativity, the Austin Half Marathon is always pretty humbling.
I love the Chevron Houston Marathon, and if you know me, that’s probably no surprise. This year was my fourth time running and third year as an ambassador for the race. With unseasonably warm temperatures, the race and its runners were definitely up for a challenge. As always, I find myself so impressed by how
